Detailed Itinerary of Rural Rajasthan Tour

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. The day is reserved for rest and acclimation.

After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive tour of Old and New Delhi, visiting the majestic Jama Masjid, the serene Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and the towering Qutub Minar. In the afternoon, you will begin the scenic drive to Alsisar (approx. 230 km), located in the Shekhawati region.

After breakfast, visit the historic Alsisar Fort, an imposing structure that stands as a testament to the region’s martial history. Afterwards, drive to Gajner (approx. 280 km), a rural retreat known for its wildlife sanctuary and palace.

Enjoy a relaxing morning exploring Gajner. Key visits include the serene Gajner Lake, the Sadul Museum, and highly revered local temples such as Deshnook Temple (Karni Mata) and Kolayatji Temple. Drive to Osian (approx. 210 km), an ancient town in the Thar Desert.

After breakfast, explore the historic 8th-century temples of Osian, including the stunningly carved Sachiya Mata Temple and the Surya Temple. Drive to Rohetgarh (approx. 140 km), a fortified village known for its connection to the local Bishnoi community and its picturesque fort.

After breakfast, visit the historic Rohetgarh Fort. Afterward, embark on a scenic drive to the massive fortress complex of Kumbhalgarh (approx. 90 km). Upon arrival, check into your hotel near the fort.

In the morning, explore the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort, famous for having the second-longest continuous wall in the world. Key sights include the Badal Mahal (Palace of Clouds) and the Neelkanth Mahadeo Temple. Drive to the romantic Lake City of Udaipur (approx. 110 km).

After breakfast, explore the Samode Palace, renowned for its magnificent Darbar Hall and frescoed walls, and visit the nearby Fort of Sheogarh. Take the short drive to the Pink City, Jaipur (approx. 35 km).

Full day sightseeing of Jaipur, including the spectacular Amer Fort (with optional Elephant Ride), the observatory of Jantar Mantar, the royal City Palace, the beautiful Jal Mahal, and a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal. Optional dinner at Chokhi Dhani (a traditional Rajasthani theme village).

After breakfast, drive to Agra (approx. 240 km). En route, stop to explore the remarkably preserved red sandstone complex of Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital. Overnight stay in Agra.

Wake up early to visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal at sunrise. After returning for breakfast, visit the massive Agra Fort, the beautiful smaller tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), and Mehtab Bagh. In the afternoon, drive back to Delhi (approx. 210 km).
